Vitex Hydrolat is an herbal product derived from the Vitex agnus-castus plant. Vitex agnus-castus is a plant native to the Mediterranean region and has been used for women's health since the Middle Ages.
Hydrolates are by-products produced during the water vapor distillation process of plants. During this process, the plant material is heated by water vapor, and then the evaporating essential oils are evaporated and condensed. The condensed essential oils are decomposed with an aqueous byproduct, which is then collected on the surface and known as hydrolate.
Vitex Hydrolate is obtained by this method from the Vitex agnus-castus plant. The leaves, flowers, and stems of the plant are distilled with water vapor, and the resulting essential oils are collected. After the condensed essential oils are decomposed with hydrolate, an aqueous by-product known as Vitex Hydrolate is obtained.
The smell of Vitex Hydrolate is a light and pleasant floral smell. It has a fragrance formed by a combination of essential oils and other ingredients obtained from the flowers, leaves, and stems of the plant. Its smell is often described as refreshing and relaxing. However, it should be remembered that everyone may have a different reaction to the smell.

Vitex Hydrolat is a natural product used in women's health, skincare, and aromatherapy. This hydrolate from the Vitex plant is used to restore hormonal balance, relieve symptoms such as menstrual irregularity, and premenstrual syndrome, relieve menopausal symptoms, and for skin care.
