Rosa x damascena Mill. (Damask Rose) is a type of rose that grows in Central Asia and has been used since time immemorial. It was used by the Persians and Byzantines for perfumes and wine. In the Islamic world, on the other hand, it has been accepted that rose water and rose oil are especially useful. In Europe, rose oil has emerged with the art of rose cultivation and production from the Byzantine Empire.
Rose Otto Essential Oil is obtained through rose petals and is very difficult. The highest quality rose oil should be produced by the only method, and this method is steam distillation. Steam distillation allows rose fragrances to be extracted as water vapor by placing them in water with rose petals. Rose oil is obtained by cooling and filtering after.
Rose oil has a beautiful, sweet, and soft fragrance. Rose oil has a fragrance in which there is usually a sweet fruity note and a pleasant flora.
USES & BENETIFS
Rose Essential Oil has many benefits such as relieving mental problems such as stress, anxiety, and depression, improving sleep quality, relieving physical pains such as headaches and migraines, moisturizing, and caring for the skin. This oil can be added to a humidifier, massage oil, shower or bath water, or used with devices such as a vapor diffuser or a humidifier.
In order to benefit from aromatherapy applications, it is important to use the right amount and use the right techniques. For example, when used as a massage oil, it needs to be used in the right proportion. At the same time, it is recommended not to apply crude oil directly to your skin, because for some people it may be skin-irritating.
In any case, it is important to be consulted by a doctor or health professional, because it may not be suitable for everyone or interact with other treatments. Aromatherapy should be considered only as an alternative method of treatment, and its use should be stopped immediately if any negative effects on the body are observed.
