Lavender Hydrolate is a by-product obtained during the distillation of the lavender plant. The lavender plant is grown in regions with a Mediterranean climate, such as France, Spain, Italy, and Bulgaria, and has a historical history of use dating back to the Egyptians and the Romans.
Nowadays, both lavender essential oil and lavender hydrolate are produced during lavender plant distillation. The distillation process is carried out by evaporating the flowers of the plant and cooling this vapor.
