Elemi Essential Oil

Elemi essential oil is obtained from the resin of the Elemi tree. The Elemi tree belongs to the Pili family and is native to tropical regions such as the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia. This tree is a green-leaved tree that can reach heights of up to 30 meters.

Elemi resin is collected when the tree is wounded or naturally exudes resin, and this resin is then converted into elemi essential oil through steam distillation.
